Choosing the Right Colour Combinations for Office Warning Signs

When it comes to choosing mandatory office signs, you have to keep several things in mind. Office warning signages are actually important for several reasons. Not only do they help draw the employee’s attention in order for them to avoid hazardous or restricted areas, they also act as a warning to customers and visitors.

Most office managers choose signs on the basis of the size of the office and employee strength. For instance, you may need to up more boards or larger signages for larger premises while smaller, fewer ones would be acceptable for small size offices.

Tones that Attract Attention

Sometimes the people who make signages may confuse the aim of making signages attractive and end up using the same colours they would for creative boards on warning ones. However, while you may experiment with out-of-the-box shades for creative signages, you can’t do the same for ones made to warn people.

In order to attract the people’s attention, bright yet serious tones would be advisable. For instance red, green, white and black would do. Furthermore, these shades are already often used for warning purposes on most road and industry boards too.

While choosing the right colour is important, adhering to norms is also a must. For instance, if you need to put a Danger signage, using black or red would be on par with industry standards. If there is a particular warning board you need to put up, it always helps to first check the industry norms before choosing your colour combination.
